A recent visit lead by CDFG director Joyce.

The group was taught how to make a reusable sanitary pad AND were encouraged to talk about womens health issues.

Part of the session involved a discussion about beliefs about menstruation.. group members commented saying, whilst on their periods they: - were not allowed to sit on a chairs - were not allowed to greet/talk to males - would have to put on one dress from the onset of the period until they finish - were not allowed to use the family basin

With each session we deliver we aim to reduce stigma about womens health and promote equality and empowerment.
